Winterhawks Home Opener Scheduled For October 2 vs. Seattle

Portland, Ore. – The Portland Winterhawks, proud member club of the Western Hockey League, announced Wednesday that the team will host its 2021-22 regular season home opener on Saturday, October 2 against the Seattle Thunderbirds.  A time for the contest is to be announced at a later date.

The news comes following the WHL sharing Tuesday that the upcoming campaign will begin on Friday, October 1.

All 34 Winterhawks home games for the 2021-22 regular season will be played at Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Season Tickets and 20-Game Plans are now on sale, while further ticketing options, including single game tickets, will go on sale later this summer.
