Portland, Ore. – The Portland Winterhawks, proud member club of the Western Hockey League, today announced that they have reassigned 16-year-old forwards Cole Cairns, Hudson Darby and Carsyn Dyck to their respective Under-18 AAA programs.

They each appeared in four preseason games this month. Cairns and Dyck each recorded their first point as members of the Winterhawks.

Cairns (5-11, 171lbs.) will return to Manitoba to play for RINK Hockey Academy Winnipeg U18, Darby (6-0, 163lbs.) heads home to Saskatchewan to play for Swift Current Legionnaires U18, and Dyck (5-10, 153lbs.) will play for the Warman Wildcats U18 team. All three are eligible to play 10 WHL games this season as affiliate players with Portland.
