Winterhawks announce schedule for round two of 2022 WHL Playoffs

Portland, Ore. – Fresh off of a first-round sweep of the Prince George Cougars, the #3 seed Portland Winterhawks will now take on the #4 Seattle Thunderbirds in round two of the 2022 WHL Playoffs.

Portland will have home-ice advantage for this series, but due to a private event scheduling conflict at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, the series will begin at accesso ShoWare Center in Kent, WA on Saturday, May 7. The second-round matchup then shifts to the Rose City for two guaranteed home games on Sunday, May 8 and Wednesday, May 11 before returning to Seattle for game four. Games five through seven will alternate between Portland and Seattle, if necessary.
