Winterhawks announce partnership with Settlemier’s Jackets

Portland, Ore. – The Portland Winterhawks Hockey Club is proud to announce a new partnership with Portland-based varsity-style apparel brand Settlemier’s Jackets.
Settlemier’s will produce Portland Buckaroos-themed varsity jackets which Winterhawks coaching and technical staff will wear on the bench during this Saturday’s Oregon Hockey History Night. Additionally, another run of Buckaroos-themed jackets will be made available to fans for pre-order beginning this Saturday.

“The Winterhawks are proud to add another successful local Portland company to our partnership portfolio. The Settlemier brand is synonymous with high-quality varsity-style apparel which we are excited to highlight during a historic night at the VMC on Saturday and going forward for seasons to come,” said Winterhawks Chief Marketing Officer Jeff McGillis.
This is not the first time Settlemier’s and the Winterhawks have worked together – in the late 1990’s, Settlemier’s was responsible for stitching the names and numbers onto the game jerseys used by Winterhawks players each season. More recently, the company has been in the news for its part in Nike’s recent collaboration with Tiffany Co., creating unique varsity jackets for select high-end athletes like NBA superstar LeBron James and Norwegian soccer standout Erling Braut Haaland.
Fans can place pre-orders for their own Buckaroos-themed varsity jackets at the Winterhawks team store and at ShopWinterhawks.com beginning this Saturday, March 18. Jackets will be priced at $495 and take approximately four weeks for assembly and delivery.
