Winterhawks Announce 2022 Preseason Schedule

Portland, Ore. – The Portland Winterhawks, in conjunction with the Western Hockey League, today announced their 2022 preseason schedule.

The team’s four match-ups are as follows:

  • Friday, September 9 vs. Seattle (in Everett, Wash.) – 2:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 11 vs. Everett (in Everett, Wash.) – 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday, September 16 vs. Spokane (in Kennewick, Wash.) – 3:05 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 17 vs. Tri-City (in Kennewick, Wash.) – 6:05 p.m.

Tickets for the preseason games can be purchased later this summer through the host teams: Everett Silvertips (September 9 and 11) and Tri-City Americans (September 16 and 17).

Additionally, the WHL announced today that the 2022-23 season will begin on Friday, Sept. 23. The Winterhawks will announce the night of their home opener in the coming days.
