Winterhawks announce home playoff games on March 31 and April 1

Portland, Ore. – The 2023 Western Hockey League Playoffs begin in Portland at the end of this month!

With 83 points in the standings, the Winterhawks have clinched the Western Conference’s #3 seed and solidified home-ice advantage for the opening round of the 2023 WHL Playoffs. They will face the conference’s number six seed in a best-of-seven series to open the postseason. Several teams are still vying for that sixth seed and the race is wide open with 17 points currently separating fourth from eighth in the conference.

While the team awaits confirmation of its round one foe, dates for the first two games of the series have been made official:

  • GAME 1 – Friday, March 31 – 7:00 P.M. – Veterans Memorial Coliseum – BUY TICKETS
  • GAME 2 – Saturday, April 1 – 6:00 P.M. – Veterans Memorial Coliseum – BUY TICKETS
