Welcome to Hawktoberfest.

A fan-favorite promotion is back for the first time this season!

Winterhawks fans can enjoy free beer and cider tasting on the VMC concourse outside Entry MM from the moment doors open at 5:00 p.m.

Strong Start.

The Hawks have scored five unanswered goals dating back to last Saturday.  Let’s keep that trend going!

Last weekend, Head Coach and General Manager Mike Johnston emphasized to his team the importance of getting off to a strong start and tonight will be much of the same.  In the first meeting between these two U.S. Division clubs, the Americans scored the first three goals of the season opener before Portland fought back and forced the game to a shootout.

Scoring by Committee.

We could sure go for a Jumbo Jack goal tonight.

Through the team’s first five games, eight different Hawks have scored a goal and they have the potential to have a deep scoring unit this season.  With Seth Jarvis making the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes opening night roster, Portland will have to continue producing with the 24 currently on roster for now.

Back for another season, fans 18+ who reside in Oregon or Southwest Washington can ENTER TO WIN a brand new Toyota car, truck, or SUV.

Each game this season, one lucky fan will have their entry drawn and they will have a chance to win our grand prize if they get all five game predictions correct.

Tonight, we are cheering on: Ricky Kloock from Sherwood, OR

What our Hawks fan could win: A brand new 2021 Toyota VenzaWhat needs to happen?

  • Portland Winterhawks (3) beat the Tri-City Americans (1)
  • Gabe Klassen scores the first Winterhawks goal.
  • Portland goaltenders make 30 total saves.
  • Tri-City goaltenders make 35 total saves.

Good luck tonight, Ricky!  Let’s get the win for you.
