2011-12: Scored first career goal in season opener on Sept. 23 vs. Everett…Had first career multi-point game with a goal and an assist the following night in Seattle…Set a franchise record with four goals on Mar. 10 at Seattle, the first time in Hawks history a 16-year-old scored four times in a game…Had eight multi-point games…Scored three power play goals and three game-winners…Voted by teammates as co-Rookie of the Year along with Chase De Leo…Attended Canada’s selection camp in August for the Memorial of Ivan Hlinka tournament…Suited up for Team Pacific in the 2012 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge and scored three goals in five games.

Career: Suited up for the Winterhawks in three games as a 15-year-old in 2010-11, earning his first career point with an assist in his WHL debut on Dec. 18 at Seattle…Spent most of 2010-11 with the Greater Vancouver Canadians of the BC Major Midget League and posted a team-high 49 points (19 goals, 30 assists) in 35 games…Added six points in six playoff games…Portland’s first round pick, 16th overall, of the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft.
