Ludvig Listed Among Top North American Skaters for NHL Draft

Winterhawks defenseman John Ludvig has been named among the top North American players for the upcoming 2018 NHL Entry Draft. Ludvig was ranked the 137th best North American skater by NHL Central Scouting Service earlier today, and the 48th ranked N.A defenseman.

Ludvig played 51 regular season games this year for the Winterhawks, posting seven points, 43 penalty minutes and was a plus 11. During the postseason, the Kamloops, BC native played 11 games and had three points and was a team-leading plus five.

The final rankings were compiled by NHL Central Scouting Service and splits prospects into both North American and International categories.

The 2018 NHL Draft will be held from June 22-23, 2018 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
