Hawks Fall to Prince George, Series Tied at 1-1 Heading to Portland

The Portland Winterhawks fell 5-1 to the Prince George Cougars in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series at CN Centre Sunday. With Portland’s win on Friday night in Game 1, the series is now split 1-1 heading back to Portland for Games 3 and 4.
Forward Cody Glass registered the Hawks’ lone goal, adding an assist for captain Keegan Iverson. Both Glass and Iverson now have a goal and an assist in the two games so far against Prince George.
The Hawks will return to Portland for Game 3 which will be played on Wednesday at 7 pm in Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
