Glass to Canada’s National Junior Team Selection Camp

Winterhawks Captain, Cody Glass has been named to Hockey Canada’s National Junior Team Selection Camp in Victoria, B.C. December 12th through 14th.

World Juniors

Following selection camp, the Canadian squad will be pared down to the final 22 players who will represent Canada at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship in Vancouver from December 26 to January 5, as they look to win Canada’s 19th World Juniors gold medal.

Canada’s final preparations include games against Switzerland, Slovakia and Finland as part of the Road to the World Juniors pre-tournament schedule. Nine communities across B.C. will play host to 12 games, featuring all 10 competing teams, from December 18 to 23.

Cody Glass

Glass is coming off of an incredible year with Portland. The Team Captain is leading the WHL in assists with 42 assists in 30 games, which also includes 21 Power Play assists, where he leads with the most in the league. The Vegas Golden Knights 2016 1st Round Draft pick is also at the top of the charts with 54 points thus far, sitting in the number four spot on the leader board.
