2017 Pre-Season Schedule Announced

The Western Hockey League announced Wednesday the 2017 WHL Preseason schedule, with the Hawks playing six games starting with a 3 o’clock matchup against the Spokane Chiefs on September 1st at Everett’s Xfinity Arena.

The Hawks will play their first three games of the preseason in Everett, taking on Spokane on Friday the First of September, before facing off with the Tri-City Americans Saturday morning at 11:30, and concluding the weekend against the host Everett Silvertips Sunday night at 7 o’clock.

Portland will then participate in the Tri-City Americans’ annual preseason tournament in Kennewick, facing off with the Spokane Chiefs again on September 7th, before facing the Kootenay Ice and the Red Deer Rebels the following two days to complete the preseason schedule.

September 1 – vs. Spokane – 3 p.m. – Everett, WA

September 2 – vs. Tri-City – 11:30 a.m. – Everett, WA

September 3 – vs. Everett – 7 p.m. – Everett, WA

September 7 – vs. Spokane – 3 p.m. – Kennewick, WA

September 8 – vs. Kootenay – 11 a.m. – Kennewick, WA

September 9 – vs. Red Deer – 3 p.m. – Kennewick, WA
